Invitation from the President
The Association of Ontario Land Surveyors (AOLS) will convene in the Markham, Ontario for its 134th Annual General Meeting (AGM), set to take place from March 3 to 5, 2026, at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre.
Based on member feedback, we have condensed the event, but members can still expect to receive tremendous opportunities to learn, network, and socialize with their peers.
The event begins on the evening of March 3rd with a Meet and Greet. This is an opportunity to catch up with your peers and share stories in a vibrant social setting. For oaur esteemed Veterans, the Veterans dinner will also be held the same evening with a twist - attendees will be encouraged to share stories and participate in an event that will be one for the history books!
The next day offers incredible CPD opportunities. We have planned 13 events members can choose from to attend. The presenters are all experts in their fields, and it is shaping up to a memorable day of learning. Returning to stage based on popular demand and kicking off the day will be Sarah Turney. Later that evening, members are invited to stay for the "Member Appreciation" dinner which leads into the Welcoming Party.
The last day of the AGM will be the business meeting. We will be presenting Committee Reports and will continue our tradition from last year to spotlight a Committee and the work they do. After the morning, we will host one of the most popular events - the Convocation Lunch, where we hope to swear in a number of new surveyors. After lunch, we will reconvene for the Open Forum, followed by the President's Exchange of Office and conclude with our closing ceremonies.
We have packed a lot into the schedule and I sincerely hope to see all of you at the AGM.
