Today is International Women's Day. This is a global day that celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It is also a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
Everyone has a role to play in forging a more gender-balanced world. At work, at home, on social media, at the hockey game: we can all challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias, and foster inclusion.
Collective activism is what drives change. From grassroots action to wide-scale momentum, we can all embrace equity.
Forging gender equity isn't limited to women solely fighting the good fight. Allies are critical for the social, economic, cultural, and political advancement of women.
