Responsibilities: Our Geomatics group in Kitchener, ON has a new opportunity for a Geomatics CAD Technologist. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to grow and advance their career in a thriving multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities include:
Taking a leadership role on the technical side of the business Survey data processing and calculations Implementing corporate CAD standards Training and mentoring junior CAD staff Working with team members to increase utilization of CAD functionality Generating boundary surveys, topographic surveys, strata reference plans, subdivision plans, condominium plans Subdivision design and plotting.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess the following:
Survey Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting Technology diploma from a recognized institution or equivalent experience 5 to 10 years of experience and proficiency in using AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop/Civil 3D Survey experience/knowledge is an asset Proficiency in Microstation V8 Inroads is an asset We offer all candidates the opportunity to challenge their abilities in a dynamic work environment and your efforts will be recognized through a competitive compensation program.
