Pop Group Radiohead uses geomatics technologies in its new video “House of Cards”

The pop group Radiohead just released a new video for its song "House of Cards" from the album "In Rainbows". Why would visitors to the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors website be interested? Instead of cameras or lights, two geomatics technologies that many Ontario Land Surveyors utilize in their daily work activities were used to capture 3D images. One scanning system produced structured light to capture 3D images at close proximity, while the other system, which uses multiple lasers, was used to capture large environments such as landscapes. In this video, 64 lasers rotating and shooting in a 360 degree radius 900 times per minute produced all the exterior scenes.
